JDRF diabetes walk by. Cerriah

Hey it's Cerriah in October were going to do the JDRF diabetes walk with me,my sister queens, and some other friends. It's going to be alot of fun especially volunteering to pass out water,apples, and other fruit to the people who have made it to the end of the long walk. : ) : ) : ) : ) : )

Hospital Work

We will be taking in the teddy bears to some local hospital in the next couple of weeks. We are hoping to set up some time with the coordinators there. We also have some tiaras that we think some wonderful princesses will be getting. We can't wait to see the looks on their faces!

5B!!

Well school is out, but doesn't mean we still can't collect food! Dancer C collected over 60 cans of food, 30 books, and 8 teddy bears for some needy organizations! Way to go kids!! I know some kids will be extremely happy once they get these! Awesome job 2B!

2 Q!!

Princess A has collected over 50 non-perishable items just from her class! Thanks Miss Q for being as enthusiastic as Princess A is about this. The kids have been so much help. Princess A has been so happy with all the kids that have participated. So many kids are going to have full tummies because of all of you! Thanks 2 Q!!

We CAN DO it!!

Can We Make A Difference?
Can we really make a difference in this world? Our personal philosophy is YES WE CAN!! We can make a difference TODAY!! With so much going on in today's world, anyone can make a difference. No matter how big or how small you are, one act can change a life. That is why we created the Yes We Can organization.It's frustrating that in today's world there are people going hungry. We will be collecting canned or non-perishable foods to donate to local food shelters. We don't want anyone to go hungry!

Forward Progress!

We have had two amazing offers of people willing to collect items and bring them to organization! Yay! We are so excited about the offers. We can't wait to help other families and kids in need. Our goal is to have hundreds of food items and hundreds of stuffed animals (a girl can dream, can't she?)!!!
We are also going to look into some local places putting a box out for people to donate there. Any ideas?

How we got started!

So we were asked how we started this idea, this mission. We have been donating books and bears to local hospitals for a little while now. We even got the owner of Build-A-Bear Workshops to donate some bears a year ago!! We also donated some care packs, crayons, books, coloring pages, and toys to hospitals.

Then we were invited to volunteer for "Feed My Starving Children" and we were deeply moved. In three hours we made over 600 meals for families in Africa!

It felt so good to help someone in need. We started thinking about all the hungry families. There are hungry families right here in the U.S.! Many children go to school hungry, not being able to concentrate on their school work. With the crisis that is happening now, it's even more prevalent.

Thus our mission was "born"! We CAN make a difference in this world! We can make this difference one CAN at a time :) Won't you consider donating one canned item, or twenty? I am sure some child's tummy will be eternally grateful!!!
